Mazzulla was named interim coach after the Celtics suspended former head coach Ime Udoka for the season due to “violations of team policies.” The decision came after reports of an allegedly improper relationship with a female member of the staff.
The Celtics currently sit at 42-17 on the season; the best record in the NBA.
