Conor McGregor is being accused of attacking a woman on his yacht in Ibiza last year while celebrating his birthday.
According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin in Spain, the woman is accusing McGregor of kicking and punching her after a night of clubbing. She claims McGregor insulted her appearance, kicked her in the midsection, and threatened to drown her.
“All his behavior changed at that moment,” the alleged victim said in her statement to Ireland’s police. “It was as if he was possessed. I knew that I had to get off the boat because I thought that he was going to kill me. … We have mutual friends and I have met him numerous times. I can’t believe what he did to me. He is a criminal. I think he would have killed me if I hadn’t got off the yacht.”
The UFC star is adamantly denying the allegations.
“Mr. McGregor is steadfast in his denial of all the accusations made by a guest on his boat,” McGregor’s spokesperson Karen Kessler said in a statement, via TMZ.
The incident is under investigation.
McGregor has been out of action since suffering a devastating leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. It was McGregor’s second consecutive loss and his third in his last four fights.
