A new study has revealed the richest sports teams in America from 2022, with the NFL dominating the top of the list. According to the research, the Dallas Cowboys are the richest team in the country and the first to be valued at more than $8 billion.
Sidelines.io analyzed each team’s value, annual revenue, and the total money spent on player payroll.
The New England Patriots checked in as the second-richest team, with the New York Yankees entering the top three as the richest baseball franchise in the United States.

The Washington Commanders are worth $5.6 billion and generated $544 million in revenue in 2022.
