Alabama Basketball Player Darius Miles, Charged With Capital Murder

A horrifying story from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, this weekend. Alabama basketball player Darius Miles has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Jamea Jonae Harris.

Miles, along with Michael Lynn Davis, were both charged with the murder of Harris. Local Alabama reporter Kelvin Reynolds tweeted the above video, showing Miles being taken into custody. Reynolds tweeted yesterday:

“University of Alabama basketball player Darius Miles cried out to loved as he’s taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail Sunday. Miles and Michael Lynn Davis were both charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Jamea Jonae Harris on The Strip just before 2am this morning.”

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Jamea Jonae Harris. She was 23 years old.
