Luka Doncic delivered a historic performance this week in the Dallas Mavericks‘ come-from-behind win over the New York Knicks, recording a remarkable 60 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists.
It was a triple-double for the record books, and Doncic delivered an epic quote during his on-court, postgame interview.
When asked how he felt about recording the first-ever 60-point triple-double, Doncic proved that he is just a regular dude by saying the only thing he wanted was some rest and a beer. It doesn’t get much more relatable than that.

Now, he can have his wish thanks to a brewery in his home country.
Laško Brewery, which is the largest beer producer in Slovenia, has created a “Recovery Edition Beer.” The beer appropriately features a photo of a goat on the can.

Simply brilliant.
It pays to be a legend in your home country, and Luka definitely deserves it. Let’s hope that he is given a free lifetime supply of the Recovery Edition Beer so he has the motivation to put on more legendary performances.
