Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is taking some flack for his pre-game regimen fans saw on Monday. I’m here to say that I stand with coach Staley.
The first verse in the book of yoga is, “Thou shall not diss the cat arch unless thou has had their lower back go out.”
It seemed that some of those pain-free back folks took to Twitter to give Staley a tough time on his cat lift and cat arch. Just know, coach Staley, some of us are in your corner. The release of pain in my back after a quick arch-lift session is enough to make a grown man cry.
Let’s check in on what people had to say about Staley’s pre-game workout:
He is WILDIN for doing this in public 💀pic.twitter.com/AxAOFbLUyz

Staley took some social media heat, although I’m sure he doesn’t care. The second-year head coach helped his team punch their ticket to the NFL Playoffs after their 20-3 win on Monday night over the Indianapolis Colts. It is the team’s first playoff berth since 2018.
In a world where some are afraid to announce what they believe in, I’m ready to take my stand. I will drop down and hit an arch/lift session at any moment. It could be in a K-Mart Cafe, with Santa Claus in his sleigh, or on a beach watching a Seagull look for prey.
Yoga. Stretches. Are. Life.
