The NFL gave fans a dream Christmas weekend by having games on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the holidays. Week 16 will officially wrap up after a Monday night matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts.

Before we put a bow on Week 16, let’s talk about the 5 biggest winners of the weekend.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Our first big winner of the weekend kicked off Week 16 on Thursday night. The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to trend upward, as the team now shares the top spot in the AFC South standings with a battered Tennessee Titans team.

The Jaguars’ 19-3 victory over the Jets has the fan base dreaming of a potential home playoff game.

4. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens getting the 17-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday helps the team keep pace with the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North standings. If the Ravens and Bengals both take care of business this week, their Week 18 matchup will be for all the marbles.

Who will reign as king of the AFC North?

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers defeated the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football in a game the team desperately needed. The Bucs are in a prime position to win the NFC Mid-South, and could potentially do it with a .500 record.

2. Green Bay Packers

I’m getting a disgusting feeling in my gut. That feeling is that all the stars are aligning for the Green Bay Packers to sneak into the playoffs. The Packers went to Miami on Sunday and stunned the Dolphins 26-20.

The thought of the cheese boys celebrating a playoff berth is enough to make a grown man cry.

1. Dallas Cowboys

There wasn’t a bigger winner from Week 16 than the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys grabbed a shootout victory over the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles. Yes, the Eagles were without their potential MVP QB Jalen Hurts, but injuries are a part of the game.

Cowboys nation still can see their team take the NFC East crown with just two games remaining.
