College football bowl season rolls on Friday, December 23, as the College Football Playoff draws closer.
But while we wait for the national semifinals and national championship game, we are still being treated to a heavy dose of college football from across the country.
On Friday, ESPN will be treating us to a doubleheader that kicks off in the afternoon.
The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns take on the Houston Cougars in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana. In the second leg of the doubleheader, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Missouri Tigers face off in the Union Home Mortage Gasparilla Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
This season’s Playoff Semifinals will take place Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, while the College Football Playoff National Championship will be Monday, January 9, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
