Week 14 of the NFL season wrapped up on Monday night with the New England Patriots taking down the Arizona Cardinals in a snoozer that everyone expected. Before we put an official end to Week 14, let’s discuss the highlights of the week. Here are 5 winners from Week 14.

Is it just me, or are the Philadelphia Eagles filing under the radar even with the best record in the league? The Eagles once again flexed their muscles on Sunday with an absolute O.J. Simpson-like performance in their 48-22 victory over the New York Giants.
With just four weeks remaining in the regular season, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts should already be preparing his MVP speech. No one is having a better season than Hurts. The Eagles are in a prime position to be the number one overall seed in the NFC. Is it time to grease the street poles in Philly?
4. How Bout Them Jaguars?

After getting decimated last week by the Detroit Lions, I’m not sure anyone had the Jacksonville Jaguars knocking out the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. No one may have thought it, but that didn’t stop the Jags from jagging off all over the Titans.
The Jaguars continue to show improvement behind the young core of Trevor Lawerence, Travis Etienne, and last year’s number-one overall pick Travon Walker. It’s crazy what a young core can do when their head coach isn’t hanging out at bars listening to Corey Smith after games. That’s a joke about Urban Meyer for you keeping score at home.
3. L.A. Baker Opens Up Shop

Thursday Night Football was primed for another wet diaper showing as the Raiders were playing a Rams team that was likely playing a QB that had yet to learn all of his new teammate’s names. The game looked exactly how we all thought until the Raiders raidered it, and the resurrection of Baker Mayfield came to life.
Mayfield cooked up the greatest drive of his career, leading his new team 98 yards down the field to beat the Raiders 17-16 with a game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the 4th quarter. A great moment for a quarterback that earned his moment. We all still hate the Browns, right?
2. The Hearts Of Lions

As a Detroit Lions fan for the past 29 years, I’m not afraid to admit I’ve seen dark days. However, these 2022 Lions are absolute must-see TV. How many teams have you seen throw a game sealing pass to an offensive lineman? Many refused to believe that Dan Campbell would be this franchise’s savior.
Maybe, just maybe, coach Campbell knows football. The coaching staff is full of veteran players who understand what it takes to succeed in this league. With just four games remaining, the Lions rebuild looks ahead of schedule, as the team is IN THE HUNT for a wildcard playoff spot. Y’all, this blue Kool-Aid ain’t bad!

There wasn’t a more prominent headline or fun headline from Week 14 than Brock Purdy dismantling the GOAT on Sunday. Purdy is the newest NFL darling, and watching him light up the Tampa Bay defense for 185 yards and 2 TDs, felt like watching a sixteen-seed take down a one in March Madness.
I’m unsure how long the Purdy story will roll on, but I have jumped on the bandwagon and am ready to see this train run until the wheels fall off. The Purdy fanbase needs a name. I’ve already started a Twitter hashtag to get the band together. Let’s get the #purdyboyswaggang going, people!
