The Minnesota Vikings were honoring the nation’s service members, veterans, and their families on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys when they were duped by a fan.

During the celebration, the Vikings broadcast a photo of legendary porn star Johnny Sins on the jumbotron.

“We’re honoring our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families during Sunday’s game against Dallas,” the Vikings posted ahead of the game. “Share photos and stories of your loved ones who have served or are currently serving using #SkolSalute for a chance to have them featured on the video board Sunday.”

One clever fan with the handle @KyleRulz4h  trolled the team with the message, “This is my cousin Joel who served in the Army. He has always been an inspiration and someone I look up to for his heroism. He is also a HUGE Vikes fan #skolsalute”

Well played, Kyle, well played.

Unfortunately for the Vikings, that wasn’t the only thing that went wrong on Sunday afternoon with the Dallas Cowboys delivering a 40-3 shellacking which dropped Minnesota to 8-2 on the season.
