The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view this weekend with UFC 281, featuring a championship doubleheader at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
In the main event, middleweight champion Israel Adesanya returns to action to put his 185-pound championship on the line against former kickboxing rival Alex Pereira, who holds a knockout win over the UFC champ and looks to once again score a victory to claim UFC gold.
In the co-main event, women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza defends her title against former champion Zhang Weili. If that wasn’t exciting enough, the featured bout is a lightweight blockbuster between the always-exciting Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler.
Ahead of this weekend’s event, the UFC uploaded its behind-the-scenes YouTube series “UFC Embedded” to give you an up-close look at what the fighters go through on fight week as they make their final preparations for Saturday night.
