Get ready, Athens! ESPN College GameDay will be making the trip to Georgia for an epic 1 vs. 2 showdown in the SEC between the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers at Sanford Stadium,
This week, ESPN announced that the College GameDay crew will be on site for Saturday’s meeting between the two teams which could have major College Football Playoff implications. Georgia is 5-2 when hosting the College GameDay crew.
It marks the third time this season that a Vols game has been the featured attraction for College GameDay, beating Florida and Alabama in Knoxville during their previous appearances.
Both teams sit at 8-0 after the season following Georgia’s 42-20 win over Florida last weekend and Tennessee’s 44-6 shellacking of Kentucky.
