Bronny James and Sierra Canyon faced off against DeMatha at a high school basketball showcase in the Washington, DC area over the weekend when chaos ensued.
According to reports and video that surfaced on social media, the game was abruptly ended when an altercation broke out in the crowd and there were fears that a gun was brandished when someone allegedly shouted out “gun!”
Once there was fear that a gun was pulled, players were rushed off of the court.

The teams decided not to finish the game and another matchup for Sunday was canceled.
After the panic, TMZ Sports reports authorities conducted a “thorough search” and “did not locate a firearm.” Luckily, there were no injuries during the incident.
Bronny commented on the situation on his Instagram story writing, “high schoolers can’t even hoop in peace nowadays.”
