The college football season is back in full swing and the FCS delivered some quality games for another action-packed weekend. Ahead of the upcoming week, we get a look at how each team stacks up against the competition.
On Monday, the AFCA Coaches Poll for Week 8 was announced and there is a newcomer in the top five.
South Dakota State remained the No. 1 team in the country and received 25 first-place votes , while Montana State and Sacramento State round out the top three. North Dakota State was idle last weekend and held on to the No. 4 spot.
Entering the top five is Deion Sanders’ Jackson State Tigers, who remain undefeated after a 22-14 win over Campbell.
