The NFL world was rocked with some major news on Thursday night when the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a blockbuster deal with the Carolina Panthers for star running back Christian McCaffrey.
Now that McCaffrey has found a new home, we are left wondering what kind of impact he will make when he suits up for his new team. And according to the oddsmakers, the McCaffrey trade helps the 49ers’ Super Bowl chances in a big way.
The oddsmakers updated the Super Bowl 57 betting odds following the trade and the 49ers now have the second-best odds in the NFC, trailing only the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. San Francisco (3-3) entered the season with 16-1 odds but now sit at 11-1.
The Buffalo Bills remain the favorite to take home the Lombardi Trophy.
