The women’s college basketball season is right around the corner and we now have our first look at how the experts think the competition stacks up.
As we prepare for the 2022-23 season, the Associated Press announced the preseason AP Top 25.
Unsurprisingly, the defending national champion South Carolina Gamecocks were named the unanimous No. 1 team in the country. Last year’s runners-up, the UConn Huskies, check in at No. 6.
South Carolina is followed by Stanford, Texas, Iowa, and Tennessee to round out the top five.
