NBA Opening Night TV Schedule: Doubleheader Kicks Off Season



The wait is finally over. On Tuesday, October 18, the 2022-23 NBA regular season officially tips off with an NBA on TNT doubleheader.

We get to ring in the new season with the always entertaining Inside the NBA crew of Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson, and two stellar matchups.

The action kicks off in the Eastern Conference when the reigning conference champion Boston Celtics take the court at TD Garden and welcome the visiting Philadelphia 76ers. In the nightcap, the Golden State Warriors begin their title defense when LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers come to town.
