The 2022 college football season is in full swing and the intensity is picking up as teams look to position themselves for the College Football Playoff. The top teams and top players have been establishing themselves throughout the first 7 weeks of the season, and the oddsmakers are taking notice.

When it comes to the most prestigious award in college football, the Heisman Trophy, there is one player who has pulled away from the pack as the clear front-runner.

According to the latest Heisman odds after Week 7, Ohio State star quarterback CJ Stroud is the heavy favorite to take home the award at +100. The next closest player on the board is Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker (+500) following the Vols’ upset of Alabama. USC’s Caleb Williams (+800) is the only other player with better than +1000 odds.

Who else is in the mix for the Heisman?
