Bronny James is joining the Nike family.

Just a few days after his 18th birthday, it was announced that Bronny is one of five basketball stars to sign Name, Image, and Likeness deals with the Swoosh brand.

Other hoopers to land NIL deals with the brand are Iowa point guard Caitlin Clark, Stanford guard Haley Jones, Sierra Canyon’s Juju Watkins, and DJ Wagner, the son of ex-NBAer Dajuan Wagner and current No. 1 prospect in the Class of 20223 according to ESPN’s Top 100 players.

“For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family,” Bronny said in a statement. “Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild — it really means a lot to me.”

Bronny is preparing for his senior season at Sierra Canyon High School.

There is no word on how much the NIL deal is worth or what specifics the deal includes.

Bronny is rated as a four-star combo guard in the Class of 2023 and the No. 10-ranked player at his position. Currently, he has three offers including Ohio State, USC, and Memphis. Conveniently enough, all three programs are Nike schools.
