The fan who was part of a “protest” during Monday Night Football before being leveled on the field at Levi’s Stadium by Bobby Wagner has filed a police report over the incident, according to TMZ Sports.
The man was running across the field before being tackled by the Los Angeles Rams linebacker, before filing the report with the Santa Clara Police Department on Tuesday.
According to Direct Action Everywhere, which claims to have organized the protest, Wagner’s tackle was a “blatant assault.”
The claim is ridiculous considering the protestor jumped the railing with a pink smokebomb and interfered on the field of play. The protestor and another woman, who was apprehended before making it onto the field, were detained and cited before being released.

The man suffered a burn injury during the incident.
As for the reason of the protest, Direct Action Everywhere says the protest was to bring awareness to a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm.
