It was a rough day for the Miami Dolphins.

On Thursday, the team decided to cancel a joint practice session with the Philadelphia Eagles because players couldn’t stop puking on the field.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Dolphins believe it is a stomach bug going around while some players initially suspected food poisoning.

Head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed he made the decision to send the team home in an effort to control the spread of the bug and to ensure the health and safety of his players.

And despite the situation, the plan is still for the Dolphins and Eagles to suit up for their preseason finales this weekend.
