Happy Friday to everyone but the person who thought it would be a good idea to have a Harry Caray hologram during the seventh inning stretch of the MLB Field of Games. Seriously, what in god’s name was that? It was equal parts disturbing and frightening. But anyway, the pregame festivities once again delivered — especially Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr. playing a quick game of catch in the outfield as the players made their way onto the diamond through the cornfields. That trip to Iowa is certainly finding its way on a lot of bucket lists. Anyway, since the weekend is just a few hours away, let’s get right down to business and check out some of the headlines from around the web.
- Meet Olivia from Florida State.
- The Marshawn Lynch DUI arrest video shows the former NFL running back being dragged out of the vehicle after refusing to step out. He was nodding in and out of sleep during questioning.
- Tom Brady is taking a short time away from the Buccaneers for “personal reasons.”
- Some moron trying to get social media fame nearly fell to his death after jumping over the railing at Bryce Canyon National Park.
- There is now an Edwin Diaz Challenge going viral on TikTok thanks to his walkout song.
- FOX shared the incredible, inspiring story of Roy Gleason during the Field of Dreams Game and you will be left wondering who is cutting onions.
- The NBA is retiring Bill Russell’s No. 6 jersey across the league.
- Here are the Round 2 tee times for the FedEx St. Jude Championship as the PGA Tour’s FedExCup Playoffs continue.

The intro to the MLB Field of Dreams Game was once again incredible, and you need to check your pulse if you didn’t love the moment with Ken Griffey Jr. asking Ken Griffey Sr. if he wanted to have a catch in the outfield.
