The 2022 NFL preseason is officially underway and training camps are in full swing.
Training camp and preseason mean there will be plenty of crucial position battles, with no job more important than who will be under center for the opening week of the regular season.
For a handful of teams across the league, the quarterback battles are among the top storylines to watch in the coming weeks.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers, veteran Mitchell Trubisky is a -250 favorite to win the job over first-round pick Kenny Pickett (+170), while Geno Smith has a slight edge over Drew Lock for the Seattle Seahawks starting job.
When it comes to the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons, however, Baker Mayfield (-1500) and Marcus Mariota (-1200) are the heavy favorites, respectively, to start in Week One.
