Charles Barkley is hitting the links.
Barkley previously met with Greg Norman about potentially joining the LIV Golf tour as a broadcaster, he is now set to participate in a LIV Golf pro-am at Trump National in Bedminster, New Jersey next week.
The current NBA on TNT analyst confirmed the news to the New York Post.
“I’m going to play in the Pro-Am,” Barkley said.
Barkley met with Norman in Atlanta on Wednesday night to discuss the possibility of joining the LIV Golf broadcasting team.
As we just discussed on @NextRoundLive, Barkley and Greg Norman had dinner last night. After dinner, Charles told us the dinner went well but he hasn't agreed to anything other than agreeing to play in the @LIVGolfInv Pro-Am at Bedminster with former President Trump. #LIVGolf https://t.co/1tbCbqF8Q8

Currently, Barkley is under a three-year, $30 million contract with Turner Sports, and there is no word on what Barkley joining LIV Golf would mean for his future with the network.
However, Barkley did say that a move could force him to resign from TNT.
“I have no idea how TNT is going to respond,” Barkley said in a recent interview, via Awful Announcing. “I don’t even know if they’ll let me do it. I might have to resign from TNT.”
