The 105th Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is set to take place at the iconic Coney Island in New York once again on Monday, July 4.

The Hot Dog Eating Contest has developed into one of the finest holiday traditions in the United States, and we will once again get to witness the greatest competitive eaters on Earth going head to head for the mustard belts.

This year, great American hero Joey Chestnut returns to defend his title and will attempt to break his very own record of 76 hot dogs, which he set during last year’s championship chow down.

On the women’s side, former champion Miki Sudo returns and looks to reclaim the crown.

Ahead of the annual festivities, the fine folks at NewYorkBets.com handicapped the field, and Chestnut and Sudo are overwhelming favorites. In fact, you can only bet on one of them or the field. Chestnut is a -3000 favorite, while Sudo is a whopping -5000 favorite. That means you would have to risk $3,000 or $5,000, respectively, for a return of just $100.

A full look at the odds can be seen below:

Current Men’s Odds:
  • Joey Chestnut: -3000
  • The Field: +1000
