The Golden State Warriors took the series lead Monday night in the NBA Finals, with Steph Curry having one of his worst shooting performances. It actually was his worst shooting performance of all time from deep.
Curry’s 0-9 shooting from three ended two of the more ridiculous records in the history of the NBA.
Steph Curry finished 0/9 from three in Game 5, breaking two incredible streaks:

Curry’s streak of games with a 3-point field goal will officially end at 233, while his postseason record ended at 132.
The thought of someone making a three-point field goal that many games in a row is just a silly stat to even believe. Curry is the greatest shooter in league history, and it isn’t even close.
Even after having 16 Points, 32% FG, 0/9 3PM in Game 5…

Curry’s worst shooting night brought many of his haters out Monday night. The only problem with that was the haters didn’t have much to say since the Warriors came away with the win.
Even with the poor shooting performance, Curry is still having a scorching Finals performance from behind the arc.

No question Curry will look to rebound from this poor display by helping his team to the promised land one more time. With a win Thursday night, Curry and the Warriors will be crowned champions of the NBA for the fourth time in eight years.
