One argument that casual NBA fans always throw around about the game is that flopping sometimes makes watching the games unbearable. Jordan Poole didn’t help those arguments during Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Twitter had a field day with Poole’s cringeworthy flop, resulting in a Marcus Smart foul.
Here are some of the best reactions.

I think even Poole knows he got away with one of the most egregious calls in the history of the NBA Finals. However, NBA officials continue to prove how even a toddler could sometimes call a better game.
Some fans loved the call claiming the Defensive Player of The Year, Marcus Smart, was receiving a taste of his own medicine.

Unfortunately, flopping is just a part of the game and has been for a while now. Everyone does it, and sadly officials still fall for it. The Warriors currently sit one game away from another Larry O’Brien trophy, with Game 6 taking place Thursday night in Boston.

Poole has blossomed into a star for the Warriors during the 2022 NBA playoffs and has many crowning him the third member of the Splash Brothers Mafia.
With everything on the line Thursday, can we please get an officiating crew that isn’t afraid to let a flop slide?
