OUCH. That’s the only way to describe what happened to Isiah Hennie of the USFL’s Pittsburgh Maulers over the weekend.
Hennie and the Maulers were taking on the Philadelphia Stars in Alabama over the weekend when the pass-catcher was on the wrong side of a devastating hit during the third quarter.
After catching a pass out, Hennie turned upfield and began sprinting up the sideline.
That’s where he met Stars defensive back Cody Brown who delivered the bone-crushing blow that lifted Hennie off of his feet. When he returned to the sideline, cameras caught Hennie spitting out his tooth on the sideline.
"I lost one, it was just a wisdom tooth though." 😳🦷

“I lost one,” he said to his teammates. “It was just a wisdom tooth, though … It’s, like, coming out in pieces.”
Hennie was able to return to the game, but the Maulers ultimately fell short, 17-16.
