The 2022 NFL Draft kicked off at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday night and will continue with rounds two and three on Friday before wrapping up with rounds four through seven on Saturday, April 30.
It was a wild night that kicked off with the Jacksonville Jaguars selecting Georgia defensive end Travon Walker with the No. 1 overall pick.
Walker was the first of five Bulldogs defenders to be selected in Round 1, which broke an NFL record.
The historic night also included Kenny Pickett falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 20, which marked the latest the first quarterback had been drafted since the 1997 NFL Draft.
The night also featured two blockbuster trades involving star wide receivers, with the Philadelphia Eagles landing AJ Brown from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for the No. 18 and No. 101 overall picks. The Baltimore Ravens, meanwhile, shipped Hollywood Brown to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for the No. 23 overall pick.
