UCLA Basketball: Jaime Jaquez Jr Announces Return For Senior Season

UCLA basketball star Jaime Jaquez Jr. is returning to the Bruins for his senior campaign.

On Tuesday, the guard announced his intentions to return for another year. By doing so, Jaquez will be on campus along with his sister Gabriela, who will be debuting for the Bruins women’s basketball team next season.

Jaquez announced the news with a video, saying his goal is to win a national championship before moving on from Westwood.

“I’m coming back,” Jaquez said. “I want to hang banner No. 12 at Pauley Pavilion.”

Throughout his three seasons, Jaquez has averaged 11.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 97 games.
