NBC has officially announced its new broadcast team for the upcoming 2022-23 NFL season.

On Tuesday, the new Sunday Night Football broadcasting team officially tabbed Mike Tirico as the new play-by-play guy to replace Al Michaels.

Tirico will be joined by Cris Collinsworth on commentary and Melissa Stark as the sideline reporter.

Sunday Night Football is destination viewing and we are thrilled to have Mike, Cris and Melissa call the action and tell the stories that football fans have come to expect from primetime TV’s #1 show,” said Pete Bevacqua, NBC Sports Chairman, in a statement.

The trio will make their debut broadcast on August 4 at the Hall of Fame Game, with their regular-season debut tabbed for the season opener on Thursday, September 8.
