A Florida Man is dead after an unfortunate car accident.
59-year-old John Hopkins was killed after his vehicle struck an 11-foot alligator. The alligator caused his vehicle to veer off the road and flip before coming to rest in a ditch, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
A vehicle that was driving past Hopkins witnessed the accident and called 911 to report the incident.
Hopkins died at the scene of the accident.
