We have reached the Sweet 16 of the 2022 NCAA Tournament and the true contenders are proving they are for real while some standout players are vastly improving their NBA Draft stock.
One of those players has been Arizona’s Benedict Mathurin, who came up clutch with 30 points in the Wildcats’ overtime win over TCU.
With the performance, Mathurin is flying up draft boards and also now one of the favorites to win Most Outstanding Player of March Madness. While he is not the favorite, Mathurin now has the second-best odds followed by Gonzaga star Drew Timme.
Another Gonzaga standout, freshman sensation Chet Holmgren, is also near the top of the list.
Who else could take home the award?
