Aaron Rodgers is returning to Green Bay.

After some speculation about his future with the team for yet another offseason, the Packers have agreed to a history-making four-year deal with the reigning NFL MVP.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Rodgers and the Packers agreed to a four-year deal worth $200M that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history.

The deal includes $153 million in guaranteed money.

Prior to re-signing with Green Bay, Rodgers reportedly considered retirement or signing with the Denver Broncos.

However, the Packers were ultimately able to get a deal done.

With the restructured deal, the Packers are expected to use the franchise tag to retain star wide receiver Davante Adams.

Rodgers will turn 39 years old during the 2022-23 NFL season, but the back-to-back league MVP is still playing at an elite level. Last season, Rodgers led the Packers to a 13-3 record while throwing for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns, and just four interceptions.
