Kayla Harrison is a free agent no more.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist and Professional Fighters League champion was one of the top free agents in mixed martial arts, but on Tuesday morning it was announced that Harrison will be re-signing with PFL.

Harrison reportedly received offers from the UFC and Bellator.

According to PFL founder Donn Davis, Harrison re-signed with the promotion on a “historic contract.”

PFL had the right to match any offer for Harrison, and ultimately decided she was too valuable to let go.

“I am also excited PFL is on board with helping me reach my goals of becoming the best and trying to acquire some of the biggest competition in the game to come and challenge me,” Harrison said, via the New York Post.

“I look forward to us making those fights happen and until then I have another belt to win.”

Harrison is currently 12-0 in her professional mixed martial arts career and has won back-to-back PFL titles at 155-pounds.

Along with the re-signing of Harrison, PFL announced the “Pay-Per-View Super Fight Division” which will feature the Olympic champ. Harrison will be part of the 2022 season beginning on ESPN in April.

An opponent for Harrison’s return to the cage has yet to be announced.
