Kyler Murray’s future with the Arizona Cardinals has been a topic of discussion, with plenty of speculation after he removed mentions of the team on his social media accounts.
But now, in an attempt to clear the air, Murray’s agent Erik Burkhart released a statement in an attempt to clear the air.
In the lengthy statement, Burkhart said Murray is committed to being the Cardinals’ long-term quarterback.
But… he also wants to see a commitment from the team in the form of a long-term extension.
The statement — which was met with a number of “it’s too early to read all of that” comments on social media — essentially said pay this man if you want him to stick around.

“Actions speak much louder than words in this volatile business… unfortunately every player, coach, and executive in the NFL knows (or should know) that words and hypothetical contractual promises are regularly dismissed and fleeting in this business,” the statement read.
“Kyler remains hopeful that the organization chooses to commit so that he can continue leading the Cardinals to further success and value for many years to come.”
Throughout his career in Arizona, Murray has thrown for 11,480 yards, 70 touchdowns, and 34 interceptions, while adding 1,768 yards and 20 scores on the ground.
Will the Cardinals invest a significant part of their money in the quarterback moving forward? Only time will tell. In the meantime, sound off in the comments section with your thoughts and predictions.
