Arnold Schwarzenegger, Logan Paul To Co-Promote 2022 Slap Fighting Championship

Well, this came out of left field. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Logan Paul are teaming up to co-promote the amazingly absurd 2022 Slap Fighting Championship.

That’s right, the unlikely duo announced they will co-promote the event on March 5 at the annual Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.

The event will be live-streamed on Fanmio’s website, as well as Paul’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“I love the absurdity of it,” Paul said, via USA Today‘s Josh Peter. “I love the idea that two guys could just stand across from each other and just slap each other and see who falls down first. It’s hilarious to me. It’s like, how is that a real event? What the (expletive) is that sport?”

This isn’t the first time that Paul has worked with Fanmio. His exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was also promoted by the platform.

Among the competitors at the 2022 Slap Fighting Championship will be Dawid “Zales” Zalewski, who slapped former strongman Artur “Walus” Walczak in October. Walczak suffered a brain injury and later died at age 46.

Is it a bizarre, violent attraction? Absolutely. Is it worth tuning in to for free? Absolutely.
