The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics were a flop for NBCUniversal.

According to the numbers released this week, the Winter Games averaged just 11.4 million primetime viewers over the past two-and-half weeks across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.

The numbers are a 42 percent drop from the previous low which was set by the Pyeongchang Olympics in 2018.

If there is some silver lining for NBC, it is streaming numbers on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, and the NBC Sports app.

Peacock saw its “best stretch” of usage over the past 18 days since its launch. Streaming services had an average primetime viewership of 516,000. U.S. viewers and logged 4.3 billion minutes.
