The NBA All-Star Game MVP trophy has been named after Kobe Bryant to honor the late legend, and now it is getting a makeover.

Bryant is tied for the most NBA All-Star game MVP trophies ever with four and the new trophy will pay tribute to that… and a whole lot more.

The new trophy which was unveiled on Thursday honors Bryant’s entire career.

The new Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP Trophy features “a four-level design honoring the late icon’s Nos. 8 and 24, 18 All-Star appearances, four ASG MVPs, USA Basketball No. 10, NBA MVP award, five titles, and two-inch final star for his two Finals MVPs.”

It is absolutely massive.

The trophy has an eight-sided base with 18 stars around it as a nod to the 18 All-Star selections. The base is two inches tall as a nod to Bryant’s 2002 All-Star MVP. The next levels are 7, 9, 11 inches tall with a whole lot of detail for different aspects of his career.

When it comes to Kobe, going all out to honor a legend is the only way to do it.
