NBA TV is making an interesting move by bringing NBA Crunch Time to the NBA app on Monday night.
The show will bring an NFL Redzone-style offering to the league’s app with a commercial-free presentation.
Host Jared Greenberg announced the news on social media.
Tonight, exclusively on the @NBA APP, watch the biggest moments of the night as they happen live on #CrunchTime. Join @steve21smith and me as we give you the NBA's version of "RedZone" starting at 8:30p/et, 5:30p/pt.

haha thanks, Beau! Should be a fun night. We've been doing this for the last 4 seasons on NBATV but now we go commercial-free exclusively on the NBA APP. https://t.co/XU6b1QzXxy

It will be interesting to see what kind of audience NBA Crunch Time brings to the NBA app — or on the apps on Apple TV or Roku.
If it is a success — especially without commercials — we could see larger broadcasts in the future.
