The Jacksonville Jaguars search to replace Urban Meyer as head coach is on.
According to reports, the team is already working on securing interviews with a number of head coaching candidates including a former Super Bowl-winning head coach and a number of highly-touted assistants from across the NFL.
NFL insider Jason La Canfora reported the team plans to speak with former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, who led the Eagles to a Super Bowl LII win over the New England Patriots and backed up Brett Favre in the Green Bay Packers Super Bowl XXXI victory.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network added the team has put in requests to speak with Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, and Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
