As the son of a cancer survivor, this was a special moment for @CoastalFootball LB @teddyjgallagher.

Coastal Carolina football star Teddy Gallagher made a name for himself with his signature mullet, the “Chanticleer Chandelier.”
It was one of the best hairstyles in college football and his mullet was always catching everyone’s attention. But now, the Chanticleer Chandelier is now more after Gallagher buzzed it all off for charity.
The senior linebacker chopped off his hair after the Chanticleers season came to an end and it was for a good cause. Gallagher will be auctioning off his golden locks to benefit The Dylan Adams Endowment, which helps children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.
The money raised by the special moment for Gallagher, who is the son of a cancer survivor, will go towards cancer research.
This is what the end of an era looked like.
Looks like the finest hair in Conway is no more! But don’t worry Chant fans! It’s all for a good cause as @teddyjgallagher’s famous mullet, dubbed the “Chanticleer Chandelier” by @MartySmithESPN, is being auctioned off and the proceeds going to @Endowment99 pic.twitter.com/ROgbU78tys

And everyone on social media had to pour one out for the fallen homies.
RIP to the Chanticleer Chandelier.

And now, as Gallagher prepares for the next chapter of his life after wrapping up his playing career in Myrtle Beach, he will be doing so with a completely new look.
