The 2021 Heisman Trophy finalists were announced on Monday night.
Earlier in the day, the betting odds for the award were announced with Alabama Crimson Tide star quarterback Bryce Young listed as the overwhelming favorite to take home college football’s most prestigious award. Young is a whopping -3000 favorite according to Bet MGM, meaning you would have to bet $3,000 for a mere $100 return.
So, of course, it was no surprise when Bryce Young was one of the four finalists announced.
The other finalists are Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett, and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud. The Heisman Trophy Trust will announce the winner of the 2021 Heisman Trophy on Saturday, December 11 in New York City.
Here is a closer look at each of the finalists.
Bryce Young is looking to become the 1st Alabama QB to ever win the Heisman. The Tide have 3 Heisman winners, all under Nick Saban and all are not QBs.
