The NFL uniform rules can sometimes feel a little too strict compared to other professional leagues. This week, however, the NFL is letting players wear cleats to support causes that are near and dear to them.

Here are some of the best looks for the league’s “My Cause My Cleats” campaign this weekend.

Andrew Wylie – Chiefs

Andrew Wylie will be repping cleats in support of Signatures For Soldiers. Signatures For Soldiers is an organization providing a wide array of assistance to Veterans throughout the country.

Wylie and Signatures For Soldiers are looking to raise money for Military Missions In Action (MMIA) with these cleats.

Seattle Seahawks

Everyone from coaches to players will be repping a cause with their footwear on Sunday for the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks released an excellent video on their Twitter account revealing the numerous cleats and their causes described by the players who will wear them on Sunday.

Kalif Raymond – Detroit Lions

One of the biggest surprises of the Detroit Lions season this year has not been that they are still winless. It has been the performances of some of the young players they hope to build on for the future. One of those players has been wide receiver, Kalif Raymond. Raymond will be showing his support for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Teddy Karras – New England Patriots

New England Patriots center Ted Karras will be rocking a special pair of cleats on Monday Night Football when New England takes on the Buffalo Bills. Karras will be supporting the Village of Merici. The Village of Merici supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently. An awesome pair of cleats for an awesome cause.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers Twitter team created a list of the players and causes that will be on the field for the team this weekend in their game with the Ravens. Multiple players will be wearing cleats for causes, including linebacker Joe Schobert, supporting Palmer Land Conservancy.

Kendall Hinton – Denver Broncos

Every pair of cleats worn this week are unique and should all be shared for the reasons they are being worn. The My Cause My Cleats will be a special week for every cause being spotlighted by players across the league. Kudos to the players and the league for shining lights on important causes.
