The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “there are up to eight positives in Dallas. Details still rolling in.” Among the positive tests is head coach Mike McCarthy, who has already been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

There is no word on which coaches or players may have tested positive.

It is awful timing for the Cowboys who have lost three of their last four games — all against AFC West teams. The most recent loss was at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving Day.

Dallas returns to action on Thursday, December 2 against the Saints, who are on a three-game losing streak of their own.
