Christian McCaffrey’s latest injury has ended his season.
On Monday, the Carolina Panthers announced that their star running back has been placed on the injured reserve list for the second time this season.
McCaffrey suffered his latest ankle injury in Sunday’s Week 12 loss to the Miami Dolphins and an MRI on Monday morning revealed the damage was severe enough to end his 2021 campaign. The news means McCaffrey will miss out on the Panthers’ final five regular-season games after the bye week.
