Shuttershock

The final half of the NFL season is in full swing. Each matchup is more vital than the week before. Playoff races are heating up while some teams are still hoping to have a chance to compete in the playoffs.

Here is a preview and betting odds for all the Week 11 games.

New England Patriots @ Atlanta Falcons (+5.5, 46.5)

Stop me if you’ve heard this before. The Patriots are heating up as the season progresses. New England is on the heels of the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East and will be looking to gain more ground as they battle a former Super Bowl foe in Atlanta. The Falcons trailed in a game last week 28-3, and now Falcons fans will gear up for more of those jokes on Thursday night.

New Orleans Saints @ Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5, 43.5)

The New Orleans Saints had high hopes for this season until starting QB Jameis Winston went down with a season-ending knee injury last month. Now the Saints are just looking to survive and advance to the playoffs. The Eagles have been a mess for most of the season, as the franchise is looking at an inevitable coaching change.

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets (+3.5, 45.5)

It seems as if the Mike White era in New York is all but dead. The Jets will look toward former ELITE QB Joe Flacco to take the reigns of the offense while rookie Zack Wilson continues to rehab his injury. The Jets will be the home underdogs to a Dolphins team who took down the Ravens last week.

Washington Football Team @ Carolina Panthers (-2.5, 43.5)

Cam Newton is back in Carolina, and all seems right with the world. Newton split reps with P.J. Walker last week in Arizona, but the Panthers hope Newton will be ready to take complete control of the offense sooner rather than later. A challenging Washington defense could be a big test for Cam’s first game as a starter.

Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills (+7, 49.5)

The Buffalo Bills have had an interesting past two weeks. After losing to the Jaguars 6-9, the Bills decimated the Jets last week 45-17. This week they will face a Colts team who has had the same exact last two opponents resulting in two victories.

Detroit Lions @ Cleveland Browns (-10.5, 46)

The Detroit Lions didn’t lose last week! They didn’t win either. The last two teams to go winless in an NFL season will meet on Sunday when the Lions travel to Cleveland. The Browns have been the biggest disappointment of the season so far, while the Lions are playing exactly like who we thought they were.

San Francisco 49ers @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+5.5, 46.5)

After their big Monday night win over the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers looked to have turned a corner this season. The 49ers are trying to stay above water in a tough NFC West. The Jacksonville Jaguars have also looked like a different team since the start of the season. Don’t expect the Jaguars to roll over in this one.

Houston Texans @ Tennessee Titans (-10.5, 45.5)

The Lions technically own the worst record in the league, but there isn’t a team playing worse football than the Houston Texans right now. The Texans will travel to Nashville to take on a Titans team that still looks to be in cruise control of the AFC South, even without Derrick Henry.

Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings (+2.5, 49.5)

SEATTLE - AUGUST 21: Superbowl Champion Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers walks on Qwest Field after winning a football game August 21, 2010 in Seattle, Washington.

If anything is inevitable in life, it is that Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers own the NFC North. Every team has attempted to become the king of the North. Sadly they all fall and bow to Dr. Rodgers and the Packers. Vikings fans have seen how this one has played out before.

Baltimore Ravens @ Chicago Bears (+6, 45)

The Baltimore Ravens have had a lot of time to digest their ugly loss to the Dolphins last Thursday night. One would expect coach Harbaugh to have his team ready to avenge such a lousy performance. The Bears defense will welcome a high-powered Ravens offense to Chicago in hopes of giving the Ravens another bad loss.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Las Vegas Raiders (PK)

Two teams that have continued to see their stock drop in recent weeks will meet in a pick ’em’ game when the Bengals faceoff with the Raiders. Both teams are coming off of games that didn’t make a good statement for the organizations. Only one will keep their playoff hopes alive this week.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks (+2, 50.5)

Since Kyler Murray’s injury, the Arizona Cardinals have not looked like the same exciting, explosive offense we have seen all season. Arizona dropped an ugly game last week to the Panthers and will look to rebound against the Seattle Seahawks‘ longtime rival. With both QB’s expecting to be healthy, this matchup could be a fun watch.

Dallas Cowboys @ Kansas City Chiefs (PK)

What looks to be the game of the day on paper will also be a pick ’em game for those looking to bet on it. The Cowboys and Chiefs could be a taste of what NFL fans may see in February for the big game. The chances of this being a high-scoring affair are incredibly likely.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5, 48)

The Steelers with Big Ben have not looked that impressive. The Steelers without Big Ben look like an abomination. The Steelers are coming off a week where they were involved in the worst game of the season. The Chargers will not be holding back after a disappointing loss of their own last week to Minnesota.

New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11.5, 50.5)

TAMPA, FL - MAY 15: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers team headquarters in Tampa, Florida on May 15th, 2017. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the 32 teams of the NFL.

The Giants vs. Tom Brady is always a can’t miss game for fans. Brady hasn’t hidden his friendly disdain for the Giants franchise, as New York defeated Brady in the Super Bowl on two separate occasions. The Buccaneers have looked off their game recently, but with Brady’s focus on the Giants, this could be the game the Bucs get their groove back.
