Katy Perry made an iconic appearance on ESPN College GameDay the last time the college football pregame show made the trip to Oxford, Mississippi.
So with College GameDay back in Oxford this weekend for the big SEC clash between the No.11 Texas A&M Aggies and No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels, Perry decided to make a video appearance with a special message for Ole Miss fans.
During her message, Perry also revealed that none other than Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin would be the guest picker.

“Hey College GameDay, it’s your old pal Katy Perry here,” she said. “Remember me? I made a lot of noice when I came and I wish, I wish, I could be there today. I know and I saw it on the internet and I wanted to be there with you being the celebrity guest picker in Oxford and watch the Ole Miss Rebels steamroll the Aggies. But, I am actually in the middle of rehearsing for my Las Vegas residency.
“But I think you’re going to be in good hands. You know why? That’s right, it’s the coach. Lane [Kiffin] is going to be the celebrity guest picker”
Texas A&M and Ole Miss are scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
While we wait, let’s look back on Katy Perry’s last appearance on College GameDay that still gets people talking.
