MMA fighter Christian Lohsen suffered a horrific injury in training but is already cracking jokes on social media.
Lohsen (9-2), who has competed in Dana White’s Contender Series and the Professional Fighters League, revealed he suffered a ruptured testicle in training after taking a brutal knee.
Unfortunately, the injury led to his testicle being surgically removed.
Despite the horrifying injury, Lohsen appeared to be in high spirits and was cracking jokes with hashtags like “#OneNutWonder” and “#TookNoNutNovemberTooFar” on Instagram.
“So last night was rough… in a training accident I got my left testicle ruptured by a knee which led to it getting surgically removed … thank you to everyone last night that helped me get to the hospital. I’m fine home resting, surgery went well. Doc said I won’t lose testosterone or ability to have kids from this. If I lose the other one however it’s a different story so from now on if you hit me in my last testicle we aren’t friends,” he wrote.
Lohsen even took suggestions for a new nickname in an Instagram Q&A which delivered results like “Obi One Cajone”, “The Wrecking Ball”, and “Half Sac Attacker.”
