Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris had some words for ESPN’s Monday Night Football crew following his team’s win over the Chicago Bears.
During the broadcast, Steve Levy told Brian Griese and Louis Riddick a story about Harris spending time homeless during his youth before heading to the University of Alabama.
“Even when he got to [University of] Alabama on a full ride, got the fancy dorm room, he spent the first few months in Alabama sleeping on the floor,” Levy said. “He said he’s just more comfortable, more used to that.”

There is one problem, though. Harris seems to indicate the entire story was made up.
“Bra I ain’t sleep on no dam floor in college,” he wrote on Twitter. “I slept on my bed… Y’all mess up my name and y’all say that stuff smh bet.”

Ouch.
That’s definitely not a good look for the crew.
Harris, meanwhile, is enjoying a productive rookie season for the Steelers, with 541 rushing yards, 289 receiving yards, and 6 total touchdowns.
